Pep Fernandez

Pep Fernandez is an awards winning sports anchor and radio host with more than 17 years in the TV/radio sports broadcasting business.

After several stops at different televisions stations throughout California, Pep eventually landed in the Inland Empire and launched the Inland_Sports Show on Fox Sports IE 1350AM in August of 2014 to bring the best sports coverage in the Riverside and San Bernardino County areas.

The Inland_Sports Show is a back-to-back finalist for the top radio/television in the Inland Empire.

Pep hosts a number of sports shows in the Inland Empire including the popular ”Sports Weekly” television show featuring high school sports highlights and interviews on IEMG-TV 3. He also also joins Geoff Gorham to form the broadcast team for UC Riverside basketball.

Pep is a member of the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame Executive Board and is the reigning Inland Empire Media Talent of the Year award winner.

He's also won the CIF Southern Section Champion for Character Award, the National Football Foundation award, the Inland Empire Baseball Coaches Association award, the Southern California Interscholastic Football Coaches Association award, and honored by the San Bernardino Unified School District.

Pep graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Journalism/Broadcasting. He began his television career at KAEF-ABC in Eureka, followed by stops at KNVN-NBC in Chico, KRCR-ABC in Redding, and KERO-ABC in Bakersfield.

Pep is married to his beautiful wife Tara and has two daughters; Alana (11) and Elle (8). He enjoys taking his family to Disneyland and jumping on the trampoline with this kids when he's not covering local sports.


Geoff Gorham

Geoff Gorham Is a former high school All-American basketball player out of Riverside California.  He played Div.1 basketball and continued his playing career overseas in New Zealand, Australia and the Netherlands, as well as being a standout player in the NBA Summer Pro-League here in Southern California.  Gorham has shared the hardwood with several NBA players during his career including, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Jason Kidd and Michael Jordan.

Geoff then pursued a career in coaching.  During his coaching career, he has worked closely with Steve Fisher of SDSU, Riverside Community College and for over 20 years as a high school coach in the Inland Empire.

Gorham then had the opportunity to enter the media world by chance.  He started as a frequent guest on Pep Fernandez’s ‘Inland Sports Show’ and it evolved into a co-hosting position which he has shared with Pep over the past two years.  Because of his local popularity, Geoff, became the color analyst for the ‘Riverside TV Football Game of the Week’, which he continues today.  That success led to being a part of the UC Riverside Men’s Basketball broadcasts as the Color Commentator for the Highlanders.  He and Pep Fernandez once again joined forces, as Pep joined Geoff on the broadcasts this season for UC Riverside Men’s Basketball.

Geoff has made many friends in the Inland Empire over the years.  His Father, John, was a high School basketball coach in the community for over 50 years and his family has deep roots in the community.  Geoff is often called, “The Mayor” in social circles, because of his popularity and love for local sports.  He is a family man, with three sons and wife, Karla, who is a local college Professor.
