Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's love story is one for the books.
During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday (December 10), the "Fate of Ophelia" singer sweetly gushed over her fiancé, calling him the "love of [her] life" as she shared how she can always lean on him for support.
After Colbert congratulated Swift on her recent engagement to the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, as well as purchasing the masters to her first six albums earlier this year, the Life of a Showgirl hitmaker explained that she never expected either of those major goals to happen, per E! News.
"Those two things, getting engaged to the love of my life, getting all my music back — those are two things that just, never could've happened," she said. "They never could have happened. It wasn't like, 'Oh, it's just a matter of time.' Both those things could've never arrived in my life. And I'm so grateful for both of those things happening."
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 after two years of dating, showing off the romantic setting for the garden proposal and her gorgeous diamond ring. The "Opalite" musician previously confessed that her beau's nerves before getting down on one knee hinted that something big was going to happen but that he "crushed" the proposal.
Elsewhere in the Late Show interview, Swift shared her blunt response to haters who want her to "go away" and leave the spotlight.
