Doug Gottlieb: "When the Cowboys lose and underachieve, everyone wants to point to Jerry Jones being not good enough. But ask around the league, no one says the Cowboys don't have good enough players. They may have spent money in places where they didn't have had to spend. This roster doesn't necessarily look like it should with a Mike Zimmer defense, but that's more about who you pick to replace Dan Quinn and what style is he going to play, and does it marry to the personnel you have. I think it's 100% about coaching and quarterback, more so than about GM and ownership. How many times do we have to see Dak Prescott in a big game not play well? I like Dak, but intangibles only get you so far. Tangibles are necessary."
Doug Gottlieb reacts to the Cowboys suffering an embarrassing home blowout to the Lions on Sunday. Doug explains that while it may be tempting to point the finger at Jerry Jones, the blame falls squarely on both Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott, who has shown you time and time again who he is in big games.
