Jason Smith: “If The Jets Called Belichick, He'd Be There in a Second"

On today’s edition of The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon, Jason and Mike react to Bill Belichick’s overly critical comments about Jets Owner Woody Johnson and the team.

Jason Smith “Look, I get it. Bill Belichick hates the Jets & he's hated Woody Johnson. I don't know why, like, Woody Johnson wasn't really the owner for that long, but if the Jets called him tomorrow & Woody called him himself tomorrow and said, “Bill, it's been a while, it's been 24 years, would you come back and coach?” I’m telling you he couldn't get to 1 MetLife Drive fast enough to be a head coach again in the NFL, where he can coach against the Patriots & get closer to Don Shula.”
Mike Harmon: “I I like your theory that he would walk through that door, but it's really the ultimate test of loyalty. How much does he hate the Jets as a franchise & whatever's there, right? Maybe it's for a tell all book that will be published posthumously somewhere down the line. Maybe it's all sitting in a vault already written & ready to go, & maybe he's already recorded that audio book. We don't know, but what's the real status of the relationship with Bob Kraft because that's the thing that would propel him towards the Jets.”
