Jason Smith: “I don’t think there’s a fit for Russell Wilson. I don’t think he would get to free agency and then suddenly people are knocking down his door. It’s almost like what happened with Bill Belichick. Bill Belichick is not the same guy, Russell Wilson is not the same quarterback. So yeah, he would hit free agency and interest would be tepid at best.”
Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to Russell Wilson saying that he wants to win two more titles to finish off his career. Jason does not see an opportunity for Wilson to get a starting job outside of Denver. Jason explains why the best scenario for Wilson at this stage in his career is for him to back up an unproven starter.
